Introduction:
WEATHER MASTER V2.0U is an educational tool as well as a home applications
program. With this program the user will gain an appreciation for the
weather patterns. Furthermore, a home owner with continued use of this
program can accurately plan his/her energy budget by monitoring the number
of heating days versus cooling days. Future revisions include the
addition of a weather prediction and weather pattern capabilities to this
program.
Copyright Notice:
4 Star Productions is the sole owner of this program and is not responsible
for any loss of date that may occur as a result of this program. The
author strongly recommends that users be deligent about making backups of
all their data and software on a regular basis. The author grants the user
the license to use this program for a reasonable evaluation period. At
which time the user determines the program is of use, he/she is required
to register the program with the author. The user is also granted
permission to make copies of this program so that others may evaulate it.
Operators of Bulletin Board Systems are permitted with include this
program in their libraries without the author's permission provided that
users are not charged for the privledge of downloading this program.
Operators of national information networks such as GEnie, Comp-U-Serve and
American Online are not required to gain the author's permission.
Companies who distribute Shareware or Freeware software and operators of
"pay-for-use" BBSs must receive the author's written permission prior to
placing this program in their libraries. Requests for permission must
include a copy of their catalog with an appropriate shareware statement
or similar advisory from "Pay-For-Use BBS operators. Copies of the
registered version (Weather Master 2.0R) may not distributed. Please send

System Requirements:
This program will work on any IBM compatible computer (XT/AT class) with
at least 256K RAM and VGA monitor/card. The number of records that this
program can handle is limited only by the available storage space. The
author recommends that the user uses at least a high density floppy disk.
How the Program Works:
This program has three display windows: (1) Command Window, (2) Data Display
Window and (3) Data Entry Window. The Command Window will display all menus
as required and any pertinent information. The Data Display Window displays
all data both in text and graphic format. The Data Entry Window is for
entering data as required.
Main Menu: The Main Menu has four commands each will be explained in
detail later.
Change Weather Tables allows the user to customize the normal
weather conditions (Temperature ranges, Rainfall and Snowfall) suit his/her
locale. This information may be obtained from your local library or, if
you have Cable TV, from the Weather Channel. Once you leave this option
the new data will automaticly be saved to the data disk.
Enter Daily Observations allows you to input the daily weather in
terms of high and lows, barometric pressure, wind speed and direction,
cloud cover, humidity and perceptation. Once you are satisfied that the
data is correct, it will be stored on the data disk. Note: you can only do
this once per day. The program will check to see if any data for the
current day has been storred. If it has it will not allow you to enter
data. Heating and Cooling Days will automaticly be caculated.
Analyze Weather permits the user to search the weather database
for pertinent weather information (Heating/Cooling Days, Temperature Ranges
and Percipation. You have the option to look at the entire year or a
particular month and year. All information will be displayed graphicly in
the Data Display Window. Temperature Ranges and percipation will also
include norms in year-long analysis.
Registration:
If you decide that this program will be of some use to you, you are
required to send the author a $15.00 (Arkansas Residents please add 5.5%
sales tax) registration fee. In consideration for your registration fee,
you will recieve a registered version of this program and future 4-Star
Productions shareware programs for your evaluation as they become
